A race of superior humans chosen by Fate who are linked to and/or are able to control one – or more – elements, to do their bidding. The probability of a baby being born an Elementi Dominus varies according to their ancestry, though it is widely believed that one of the grandparents has to be a human, but that is just a myth. Whilst the parameters that originate the chosen offspring are unknown, one thing is certain: If two Elementi Dominus have a child together, that child will also be one of them. If on the other hand, only one parent is an Elementi Dominus or if none of the parents is, chances of the baby being born one fall to a very low level.
They have unusually colored eyes, often colored golden or silver, through any sharp color usually indicates that they are a superior being as well.
There are two ways for an Elementi Dominus to be created: Either they are born that way or, they come across one or more special items which grant them powers and therefore, the designation. Those items can be anything, from enchanted clothing to a weapon or a trinket.
As a general rule the element they are bound to shapes the way they are, their weaknesses, their strengths, phobias and other psychological traits. Wind-bound Elementi are often claustrophobic, Water-bound Elementi's personas can often juggle between ferocious and serene, etc. Each Elementi is unique and, apart from traits common for their Element(s), just like a normal person, they will develop likes and hates throughout their lives, things that they are good at, and things they aren't.
Elementi often reveal very sharp personalities which often restricts them from a normal social life among humans, since most of them have the power to slaughter a large group within moments if they feel the need to. However they try to keep it to themselves and – with rare exceptions – are able to maintain powers within check.
Because of their powers, they are often feared by normal humans, making them outcasts quite often.
As such, many prefer to hide their powers from general view and, those who don't, prefer to lead individual nomad lifestyles, never staying in a place long enough to call it home.
It is not unheard of two or more of these elemental masters to meet each other along the open road. Whenever that event occurs, they often engage in friendly matches, just as a means to show off each other's abilities and to test their respective strengths.
Elementi Dominus may be gods to humans, but they are certainly NOT immortal. Their basic physiognomy is the same as a regular human, meaning that they age, are prone to diseases and external threats such as poisoning. There are rare exceptions to this, but the differences are few in number and minimal in size.
So far, 13 types of Elemental forces have been discovered, though it is very common for an Elementi Dominus to be bound to more than one Element. Their powers rarely tap on the full power of their Element(s), instead leaning more to a specific sub-division.
The 12 basic elements are Fire, Water, Wind, Ice, Earth, Metal, Thunder, Light, Dark, Space, Time and Magic. The 13th is the Chaos Element, which only applies whenever two or more Elementi Dominus unite their powers in order to attack a mutual enemy or, when in battle their powers collide against each other with enough intensity. The results of these unions/clashing of power vary, often resulting in massive destruction but, when the right combination of Elements occurs, the results change – greatly.

DUALITY
His Armani jacket swooped left and right in the frigid night air as his Enrico shoes clap with the the hard ground of this narrow back alley as if to applaud a job well done. He clasps his keys and lets himself into the back of an apartment block. I step out into the centre of the Alley and breath the cold air deep into my lungs the job isn't over yet. Taking a key from my pocket I reminisce how attaining this exact replica of his key was possibly the hardest part of this otherwise easy assignment.
Already I am inside the living room of his penthouse apartment. So this is where he leads his second life. Of course

"Ah ambassador permit me to introduce my three children to you." The marquee was very proud of his children. He had once been a great and powerful magician before the king had granted him domain over the marches. There was only the one village and the castle that the the marquee resided in, yet still his ministers and his children all made the marches a powerful domain.
"This is my younger son, Draecus."
Draecus was a tall, broad shoulder, barrel chested man with short thick hair and a well trimmed beard. He stood a full head taller than I did. His clothing all matched that of a great hunter or outdoors-man. His boots were made of greased

But my fire has left me.
I reside in my own inferno.
Searching for my fire.
